The Whitehorse Musicians Guild proudly announces the return of Rock the Mountain, an energetic, fan-driven music festival set against the majestic backdrop of Whitehorse Mountain. Taking place at Darrington Music Park, this three-day event will be headlined by legendary rock band Head East. Known for their powerful harmonies and iconic sound, Head East has spent decades delivering performances to audiences across North America. Their signature hit, “Never Been Any Reason”, often dubbed “The Rock & Roll National Anthem” continues to resonate with fans of all ages. The band is touring in support of their 2023 release Full Circle while celebrating the 50th anniversary of their release of the hit album that started it all, Flat as a Pancake. Their music has also been featured in films like Dazed and Confused and TV shows including That ’70s Show. So, head east toward the mountains about 35 miles from the I-5 at Arlington to the best venue this side of the Cascades to enjoy more than 20 bands performing across multiple stages, along with dance performances, workshops, and food and craft vendors. Additional attractions include a Rock Bar, acoustic open mic / karaoke stage, children’s music area, contests, raffles, and prizes, and of course a VIP upgrade for those who want to rock in style. There’s something for everyone.
